Social Roles and Nationalities in Interwar Poland
Conference 26–27 of January 2012
This two-day conference, held in Warsaw, January 26–27 2012, deals with the relations between nationality and social roles described and explained in the context of various changes of the social life patterns, redefining the interwar society. In particular, panelists will discuss problems of citizenship, acculturation and education, writers' attitudes toward identity and nation, changing of social roles in local communities, relationships between peasantry and the state as well as the long-lasting feudal structures.
